In addition to his standard range of talks, Rupert has a number of talks specially crafted to appeal to older audiences. All talks are accompanied by a clear visual presentations projected on to a large screen, accompanied by large-type captions.

Among the talks currently on offer are:

Special Birthday Celebration - Choose any decade or year between 1900 and 2000 and Rupert will speak about the most famous events of that year. Enough to awaken forgotten memories for almost anyone. An inspiring talk for that special birthday - 80th birthday, Golden Wedding  etc. For an additional £100 Rupert will supply six copies of a special 24 page paperback book dedicated to your resident, including their photo and name on the cover and title page plus an illustrated history of the year in question. Plus a custom-made greetings card for your staff to sign to show your respect and affection for the resident. Please note that 3 weeks notice is required, and you are asked to provide photos to be used.

Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother - A loving tribute to the matriarch of the Royal Family who survived two World Wars, had the common touch and lived to see her 101st birthday.

Famous British Film Stars - The great stars of the golden age of the British silver screen from the 1940s to 1960s, including: John Mills, Kay Kendall, Joyce Grenfell, Dinah Sheridan, Kenneth More, Donald Sinden, Sylvia Sims, Harry Andrews, Thora Hird, Arnold Ridley, Trevor Howard and many more.

A History of British Sweets - From jelly babies and wine gums to polo mints and love hearts, this talk meanders through favourite childhood treats as they were introduced to a sweet-toothed nation from 1900 to 2000.
