School Visits - Booking A Visit

• My fee of £250 per day is in line with fees recommended by the Society of Authors for author visits to schools.
• For visits to the same school on two or more consecutive days, the rate is reduced by £50 per day for every day after the first day.
• Please enquire for details about making a block booking (i.e. several visits over the course of a term or year).
• Travel expenses to and from home are charged at 45p per actual road mile travelled 
• If you are a primary school and choose not to distribute the order form for signed copies of my books 
  you will be surcharged £25.
• Accommodation expenses if an over-night stay is needed - for instance a Premier Inn or B&B near the school.
• I don't expect payment on the day. I will invoice you after the visit. Payment can be made by cheque or BACS transfer (full details are given on the invoice). Please make payment in full in full within 30 days of the invoice date.
